Impotep
A mummy from the dead!
Imhotep was an Egyptian nobleman. Althought he started out as just a commoner, he was able to rise in power and in rank. He served under the Third Dynasty, King Djoser as vizier to the pharaoh and was high priest of the sun god Ra at Heliopolis. Imhotep was also a doctor, writer, and founder of Egyptian studies of astronomy and architecture. He was a patron of wisdom and medicines, and the Greeks identified him with Asclepius, the god of medicine and healing. Imhotep was a physician to gods and men, and was said to send sleep to those who suffered pain. He was known best of all as the architect of the pharaohs tomb, the Step Pyramid, the first structure created exclusively out of stone. As well as a a real life god, he as well known in plays, books, and movies, including, "The Mummy." Imhotep was a very respected, well known Egyptian nobleman who helped many with his talent in medicines and healing.
